Digital Scratch-Off Terms and Conditions

These Digital Scratch-Off Terms and Conditions (these “Terms”) govern participation in the digital scratch-off feature (the “Digital Scratch-Off” or the “Feature”) made available to eligible donors through the KEDPlasma Donor Application (the “Donor App”), operated by KedPlasma LLC (“KEDPlasma,” “Sponsor,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By accessing or using the Digital Scratch-Off, you (“you” or the “Participant”) agree to be bound by these Terms. These Terms supplement, and do not replace, the KEDPlasma Donor App Terms of Use and Privacy Policy, which continue to apply. If there is a conflict between these Terms and the Donor App Terms of Use specifically with respect to the Digital Scratch-Off Feature, these Terms control.

1. Who may participate?

To participate in the Digital Scratch-Off campaign (a “Campaign”), a Participant must: (a) be at least 18 years old; (b) be a registered, active donor with an active Donor App and KEDLeague account in good standing; and (c) not be a current or former employee, contractor, or agent of KEDPlasma, or an immediate family member or household member of such a person. All applicable federal, state, local, and municipal laws and regulations apply. KEDPlasma reserves the right to verify eligibility at any time and to disqualify any Participant who does not meet these requirements. Participation in the Digital Scratch-Off is completely voluntary.

2. Mandatory Acceptance of These Terms

Before a Participant may reveal or “scratch” any ticket, the Donor App will require the Participant to affirmatively accept these Terms. A Participant who does not accept these Terms will not be permitted to scratch a ticket or participate in the Feature. By accepting these Terms, the Participant acknowledges having read, understood, and agreed to all of the terms, conditions, and reward rules described in this document.

3. Scratch Tickets and Ticket Expiry

3.1 Issuance of tickets

Eligible Participants will be issued one or more digital scratch tickets within the Donor App in accordance with the rules of the applicable Campaign.

3.2 Ticket countdown and expiry

Each scratch ticket is subject to its own countdown timer, displayed within the Donor App, showing the time remaining for the Participant to reveal or scratch that ticket. A scratch ticket expires, and is permanently forfeited, if it is not scratched before its countdown timer reaches zero. The ticket countdown period may vary per Campaign. An expired, unscratched ticket confers no reward of any kind, and KEDPlasma has no obligation to reissue, extend, or compensate for an expired ticket, except where required by applicable law.

3.3 One-time play and duplicate redemption prevention

Unless otherwise stated for a specific Campaign, each issued scratch ticket may be scratched one time only, and each Participant may redeem no more than one reward per ticket. KEDPlasma uses account-, device-, and ticket-level controls to detect and prevent duplicate plays and duplicate redemptions, including preventing the same ticket, donor account, device, or reward outcome from being claimed, redeemed, or credited more than once. Any attempt to scratch the same ticket more than once, to redeem the same reward more than once, to use multiple accounts or devices to obtain additional tickets or rewards, or to otherwise circumvent these controls will result in invalidation of the duplicate attempt and may result in forfeiture of the original reward and suspension of the Participant’s access to the Feature. KEDPlasma has sole discretion to determine whether a duplicate play or redemption attempt has occurred.

4. Rewards

4.1 Types of rewards

Each scratch ticket will reveal one of the following outcomes:

4.1.1 A fixed monetary amount, which may vary per Campaign, that is not paid in cash and is not immediately available. A monetary bonus reward is instead applied as a credit toward the Participant’s next successful, completed donation following the date the reward is won.

4.1.2 A number of KEDPoints that are credited to the Participant’s KEDLeague account immediately upon the ticket being scratched, with no separate redemption or claim step required. KEDPoints are subject to the terms of the KEDPlasma KEDPoints program, including any applicable point expiry, minimum thresholds, and redemption rules under that program.

4.1.3 No reward. A “no reward” outcome is final and is not eligible for a retry, substitute ticket, or appeal, except as required by applicable law.

4.2 Monetary bonus: redemption window

A monetary bonus reward must be redeemed by being applied to a successful, completed donation within ten (10) days of the date the reward is won (the “Redemption Window”). The Redemption Window begins to run from the date and time the reward is won, as recorded by KEDPlasma’s systems, and is separate from, and not extended or shortened by, the scratch ticket countdown described above. If the Participant does not complete a qualifying donation within the Redemption Window, the monetary bonus is automatically and permanently forfeited, and KEDPlasma has no obligation to reissue, extend, or substitute the forfeited bonus, except as required by applicable law.

4.3 Monetary bonus: application mechanics

A monetary bonus is not transferable, assignable to another donor account, or redeemable for any purpose other than application to a qualifying donation as described above. A monetary bonus will be applied to the first successful, completed donation the Participant makes within the Redemption Window, up to the value of the bonus; it is not a guarantee of payment and does not apply if the donation does not successfully complete for any reason (including donor deferral at screening). Only one monetary bonus may be applied per qualifying donation unless otherwise stated for a specific Campaign.

4.4 KEDPoints: crediting

KEDPoints rewards are credited to the Participant’s Donor App account automatically and immediately upon the scratch ticket being revealed. No additional claim, redemption step, or donation is required for KEDPoints to be credited. Use, value, and expiry of credited KEDPoints are governed by the KEDPoints program terms referenced above, not by these Terms.

4.5 General reward conditions

All rewards are subject to availability. Rewards are not cashable, negotiable, transferable, or exchangeable, except as expressly stated in these Terms. If a specific reward becomes unavailable for any reason, KEDPlasma reserves the right to substitute a reward of equal or greater value. KEDPlasma is not responsible for a Participant’s failure to receive or redeem a reward due to incorrect account information, technical issues outside KEDPlasma’s reasonable control, or the Participant’s failure to act within the applicable countdown or Redemption Window.

5. Account Information and Verification

To receive and redeem rewards, a Participant’s Donor App account must include accurate and current contact information, including the Participant’s first and last name, a valid email address, and a valid contact number. A Participant may only participate using their own donor account and may not play on behalf of, or using the account or device of, another person. KEDPlasma may invalidate any ticket, play, or reward where it determines, in its sole discretion, that the Participant has provided inaccurate or incomplete account information, used more than one account or device to obtain additional tickets, or otherwise violated these Terms.

6. Communications and Consent

By participating in the Digital Scratch-Off, Participants consent to receive in-app notifications and, where separately opted in, text messages, phone calls, or emails from or on behalf of KEDPlasma regarding ticket status, rewards, and related promotions. Message and data rates may apply. A Participant may withdraw consent to text messages at any time by texting “STOP” or using the opt-out mechanism described in the Donor App’s Terms of Use and Privacy Policy. Withdrawing consent to promotional communications does not affect a Participant’s ability to use the Donor App or participate in future Campaigns in accordance with these Terms.

7. KEDPlasma’s Discretion; Disqualification

KEDPlasma has sole discretion to interpret and enforce these Terms, including to determine Campaign eligibility, ticket validity, duplicate play or redemption attempts, and reward eligibility. KEDPlasma may disqualify any Participant and invalidate any ticket, play, or reward where it determines, in its sole discretion, that the Participant has violated these Terms, engaged in fraud or abuse, or attempted to manipulate or interfere with the Feature’s operation.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, KEDPlasma is not responsible for lost, delayed, misdirected, or unredeemed rewards, for technical failures of the Donor App or any related network, or for a Participant’s failure to scratch a ticket or redeem a reward within the applicable countdown or Redemption Window.

9. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by, and will be construed in accordance with, the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to its conflict of laws principles.

10. Changes to These Terms

KEDPlasma may update these Terms from time to time by posting a revised version within the Donor App. Material changes will apply prospectively to Campaigns and tickets issued after the effective date of the change. Continued use of the Digital Scratch-Off Feature after a revised version is posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
